Papillion Manor Awarded “Best Float” at Papillion Days Parade
In conjunction with Papillion Days the Papillion Community Foundation coordinates a parade each year. This year’s theme was “Wild West” and Papillion Manor received the designation “Overall Best Float.” The theme of the float was “Taming the West with Dignity.” An “old time” tavern with saloon girl and sheriff depicted a scene from long ago. An Indian sitting alongside a teepee represented another key figure in America’s western frontier. A bus full of our beloved residents made the trek, too. Holding up the rear were live horses and several young riders. Residents and employees had a world of fun representing the olden days.
Teamwork-Our relationships are built on mutual trust and respect. We recognize the value and worth of each person we are privileged to encounter, work with, and serve. We seek to understand what is important to others and let people know they are appreciated for who they are and what they do.
